Privacy Policy
How goArrow handles your data — in plain language.
Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the goArrow mobile game and its online services (together, the “App”) collect, why, and what choices you have. goArrow is designed to be played anonymously: most of the App works without any account at all.
The short version. You can play completely anonymously. We never sell your personal data. Signing in with an email is optional and only used to sync your progress and ranking. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from inside the App.
1. Who we are
The App is published under the bundle/package identifier info.shurco.goarrow. For any
privacy-related question or request, contact us at goarrow at shurco dot info.
2. What we collect
We only collect what the App needs to work. The table below lists every category of data and whether it is required.
| Data | When | Why | Required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address | Only if you choose to sign in | Send a one-time sign-in code, sync progress across devices, send account-deletion codes | Optional |
| Nickname (display name) | If you appear on the leaderboard / join competitions | Show your name to other players on the leaderboard and in competition rooms | Optional |
| Account / device identifier | Generated on first launch | A random anonymous ID that links your progress and ranking to your device or account | Required for online features |
| Gameplay data | As you play | Level progress, results, coins, boosters, and competition participation | Required for online features |
What we do NOT collect
- No precise or approximate location.
- No contacts, photos, files, or messages.
- No payment or financial information (there are no real-money purchases).
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
3. How we use your data
- To run the core game and save your progress.
- To authenticate you (the one-time email code) when you choose to sign in.
- To power the global leaderboard and real-time online competitions.
- To send you account-related emails you trigger (sign-in code, account-deletion code).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (e.g. filtering inappropriate nicknames).
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. If we ever introduce new uses of data (for example, advertising in a future version), we'll update this policy and the in-app disclosures before doing so.
4. Anonymous play
You can play the single-player campaign — including downloading level packs, using boosters, and earning coins — without creating an account. In this mode your progress is stored only on your device. An email and nickname are needed only if you want to sync across devices or take part in the leaderboard and competitions.
5. Sharing & third parties
We don't share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. The only external service we rely on is an email delivery provider (SMTP relay), used solely to send the account emails you request (sign-in and account-deletion codes). That provider processes your email address only to deliver those messages.
Your nickname is visible to other players on the leaderboard and inside competition rooms — that is the intended purpose of those features. We may disclose data if strictly required by law.
6. Data security & retention
All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and game-changing requests are additionally signed (HMAC) to prevent tampering. We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Anonymous, on-device progress lives only on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App.
7. Deleting your account and data
You can permanently delete your account at any time, directly in the App:
- Open Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm the warning, then enter the verification code we email to your address.
- Your account and all associated server-side data — profile, email, nickname, coin wallet, purchased packs, and competition rooms/participation — are permanently erased, and the App resets to its first-launch state on your device.
If you can't access the App, you can also request deletion by emailing goarrow at shurco dot info from the address tied to your account. See the account deletion page for full instructions.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we collect so little and offer in-app deletion, most of these are self-service. For anything else, contact goarrow at shurco dot info and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children
goArrow is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Because the App offers online features and optional email sign-in, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
